What does ‘Set2’ mean?
Set2Fitness got its name in part as a representation of the life of founder, Lorna McGee. After a successful career in IT and with the support of her family Lorna made the move to pivot into her second career; second set, set number 2, as a fitness coach. Also, in training you can expect a Set number 2. And to reach your fitness goals you just have to Set To It!
Lorna In her own words
It wasn’t until I found activities I enjoyed that I contemplated my own fitness. I realized that if I improved my physical condition the races and events would be more fun, I could do more of them and the recovery would be less traumatic. Throughout my 30’s and 40’s I enjoyed many different types of training and had the opportunity to work with and learn from amazing coaches. Now, with my more extreme racing days behind me (maybe) I am focussed on maintaining my strength and mobility with a commitment to aging as healthily as possible. This inspired me to leave my technology career behind and share my passion for functional training with my community.
I look forward to helping you through fitness coaching to enjoy your favorite things in life even more. Whether that be IronMan triathlon, playing with the children in your life or making your day to day activities easier.
